PELHAM—Ballantrae Golf Club is bringing back its Family Night Dinner Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

“It’s for residents and members, a chance for them to spend time with friends and fellowship with great food,” said General Manager Hal Brown.

The Family Dinner is open to both Ballantrae members and residents in the area, and Brown said it’s an opportunity to bring new faces to the golf club. Many people don’t realize Ballantrae is open to the public, Brown said, so this helps get the word out.

Dinner will consist of pork tenderloin, roasted chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, tossed salad and rolls, peach cobbler and ice cream. Guests can choose from tea, coffee and lemonade.

Brown said Ballantrae’s Fireside Grill prepares all the food for the event.

“It’s just great to see familiar faces, meet new people and have some out for the first time to see that, while golf is our main focus, that we have more services for non-golfers,” Brown said.

At past Family Dinner Nights, Brown said they have had between 50 and 75 people attend, and everyone seems to have a good time at the dinner. If they have a good turnout Feb. 16, Brown said they plan to continue the dinner night as a monthly event.

Deadline for registrations and cancellations is Friday, Feb.12. Family Dinner Night is open to Ballantrae members and the public. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children under the age of 10.
