L.P. Leonard’s Store. L.P. Leonard was a prominent merchant in Helena around the 1880s. Later in this same building, the International Order of Odd Fellows met upstairs. The Helena Lodge was chartered in 1902. The original members were a list of “who’s who” in town and included W.A. Hayes, John Penhale, James Bald, T.L. Wallace, R.T. Gillam and M.E. Roy.
