Vivian G. Turquitt, age 87, of Calera, died Tuesday, April 5.

The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 8 at Columbiana City Cemetery with Rev. Bill Alexander officiating. Visitation will be from 12:45-1:45 p.m., Friday, April 8 at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Turquitt is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Turquitt; son, Melvin Turquitt; granddaughter, Amber Nicole Parks; sister, Shirley Millwood; and a brother, Bud Goodwin.

She is survived by her son, David Turquitt; daughters, Bonnie Downs (David), Becky Mitchell (Gene), Janice Thrash, and Katie Lutz (Luther); daughter-in-law, Marcia Turquitt; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Rod Goodwin and Leon Goodwin; sisters, June Coleman and JoAnn Morgan; and numerous other family and friends.
