The Columbiana Angles All-Stars recently went undefeated to claim the District 3 Sub-District championship in Centreville.

The Angles swept the tournament with three wins and a combined score of 31-0.

On July 9, the team clinched the District 3 championship by defeating the Hueytown All-Stars with an inspired 8-7 victory.

The Angels also swept the District tournament with a 3-0 mark. This latest win qualifies the team to represent the city of Columbiana and Shelby County in the Dixie Girls State Championship Tournament in Fairhope.

This is the first ever Columbiana Angels team to attend the state tournament.

Team members include Josie Smith, Chelsea O’Shields, Courtney Lawshie Elizabeth Waldrop and Chasity Payne. Brooklynn Phillips, Meagan Reddell, Meagan Billingsley, Kira Chaudry, Brittany Calma, Kailey Goodwin and Chelsea Dunnaway.
