Congressman Bachus receives Reagan award

U.S. Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL) received the Ronald Reagan Excellence in Leadership Award from the Alabama House Republican Delegation recently. This award is given to a person who shows outstanding leadership to the state of Alabama.
&uot;It is a tremendous honor for me to receive this award, especially one named for Ronald Reagan, one of our greatest Presidents and one of the most important leaders of the 20th century,&uot; said Bachus.
&uot;The Alabama House Republican Delegation is a strong group of leaders in government and it is a privilege to be recognized by them.&uot;
Also present were Gov.-elect Bob Riley and Attorney General Bill Pryor.
Riley said Congressman Bachus is a close friend who worked tirelessly to elect him and other Republicans in Alabama and across the nation.
