Kingwood Lady Lions win two at Lee Scott

Kingwood Christian traveled to Auburn Tuesday, to take on Lee-Scott Academy in a double-header.
Kingwood won the first game 4-3 behind the performance of senior pitcher Jamie Jones, who got the win.
Jamie faced 31 batters, striking out 13.
Offensive highlights include senior Shannon Rozof who went 3-for-4 at the plate, scored 2 runs and had 5 stolen bases.
Sophomore, Jessica Sellers was 2-for-4 with 1 RBI and 2 stolen bases.
Sophomore Megan Lee went 1-for-4 with 2 RBI. Sophomore Alyssa Shepherd had a double in the third inning, went 1-for-4 and scored a run.
In the 2nd game, the Kingwood bats came alive.
Shepherd went 1-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Rozof went 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored, 1 RBI and 5 stolen bases.
Sophomore, Megan Lee walked twice and scored 2 runs with 4 stolen bases.
Sellers went 2-for-3, scored 1run and had 1 RBI and 3 stolen bases.
The highlight of the offense in the game was freshman, Kayla Cates.
She went 2-for-3 with a walk, a single and a grand slam. She had 4 RBI, scored 3 times and had 2 stolen bases.
Pitchers were Shepherd and Rozof.
Shepard faced 17 batters with 3 strike outs and 2 runs scored.
Kaitlin pitched to three batters, struck out 1 and had 2 put outs to end the game
