Tune in to make best decision

The first of several debates between President George W. Bush, the Republican candidate for re-election, and John Kerry, the Democratic challenger, is set for Thursday night.
And we encourage each and every person who intends to cast a vote to tune in.
Much time has been spent during this election on the past – Kerry’s time in Vietnam and actions thereafter and Bush’s National Guard service, here in Alabama and in Texas.
Although these actions are important and clearly indicative of each man’s character, we encourage voters to look beyond the past and determine who is the best candidate to lead our country during these uncertain times.
America is now continuously under the threat of terrorism from both inside and outside our borders.
And domestically, we certainly have our problems, although our economic outlook seems to be strong.
By listening to the candidates and examining their responses during the debates and their records (as President for Bush and Senator for Kerry), voters will be able to make the best decision for the future of America.
In what has been called the &uot;most important election in recent history,&uot; we MUST make the best decision.
As voters and members of a society which cares about its direction, it’s our obligation
