Correct Social Security now

Last week, President George W. Bush made a stop in Montgomery on his whirlwind tour of the U.S.
He came touting the virtues of an early fix to Social Security.
An early fix is the only way.
Despite propaganda by groups like the AARP, there is a problem with Social Security. The system was a good one when it was set up.
Demographics have changed since then, however, and the president has set out across the country to make Americans aware of those changes.
Social Security is not in crisis, yet. But if we wait, the crisis will come.
One economist said if the system is corrected now, there are several options. If we wait, there will only be one – raising taxes.
Let’s get behind the president and ask our representatives to do their jobs and correct this problem now
