Falcons’ Hall named to All-American team

University of Montevallo guard James Hall became the second Falcon ever to be named an All-American last week when he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-American Team.
Hall was one of 16 student athletes from Division II teams across the country named to the team.
He is the first UM player to receive NABC All-American honors since Earl Ike was named NABC All-District and NABC All-American honorable mention following the 1999-2000 season.
Hall completed his junior
season with an 18.6 points per game average and a .418 three-point percentage.
He was named MVP of the Gulf South Conference tournament after averaging 22.3 points and 7 rebounds in three games.
Hall and teammate Marcus Kennedy were also named to the first team NABC Division II All-South Region.
Kennedy averaged 15.7 points per game and finished second in the GSC in field goal percentage
