The Birmingham Polo
Classic, originally scheduled for last Saturday, was postponed due to heavy rains last week. The Classic, which will be held this Saturday, June 11, will feature a full day of events and fundraising to benefit the Children’s Hospital Intervention and Prevention Services (the CHIPS Clinic), a comprehensive children’s clinic in Alabama dealing with cases of sexual and physical abuse.
All activities and times will remain the same, with gates opening at 10 a.m., matches at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., the noon luncheon in between and the silent auction going on all day.
The event will be held at the polo grounds near Shelby Academy on Highway 22 at the Interstate-65 Shelby County Airport exit
