Three arrested for robbery

Three men were arrested last week for the robbery of Camino Real Tienda Latino, a Hispanic store in Pelham, after a Pelham detective saw them running from the store.
Pelham Police Lt. Scott Tucker said the detective followed the men in his car on Pelham Parkway and aided police, who created a traffic stop on Highway 119 to apprehend them.
He said police retrieved the handgun used in the robbery and the $691 that was stolen.
Fredy Perez Gomez, 21, of Columbus, Ga., was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
James Howard Crosby, 24, of Salem, Ala., and Jydell Montrell Brown, 25, of Columbus, Ga., were charged with first-degree robbery.
