Donald Nelson Epperson, 75, of Jemison died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1930, in Jefferson County to the late Henry Epperson and Florence Payne Epperson.

He is survived by his wife, Judith P. Epperson of Jemison; four sons, Ronnie (Debra) Epperson of Montevallo, Terry (Fay) Epperson of Jemison, Steve (Nancy) Beardin of Columbiana and Shea (Tracy) Jenkins of Columbiana; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six pets.

Service was Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Grove Methodist Church, the Revs. Jeff Carroll and Heath Vines presiding. Burial followed at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Jemison and Martin Funeral Home directing.

Mary Lucas Frye, 83, of Jemison died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005. She was born July 5, 1922, in Montevallo.

She is survived by her children, Lester Lucas, Leslie Lucas and Mary Jane Farler; her sister, Elizabeth Williams; her brother, Thomas ‘Dude’ Lucas; seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Service was Aug. 24 at Shelby Memory Chapel with burial following in Shelby Memory Gardens, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing.

Era Roper Fulmer, 96, of Birmingham died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005. She is a charter member of Bryan Memorial Presbyterian Church, retired from Liberty Trouser Company after more than 20 years of service and was an admired resident of Lakeview Estates Assisted Living Facility. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, George C. Fulmer.

She is survived by her son, Elbert (Amy) Fulmer of Birmingham; daughters, Nell (Lloyd) Andrews, Lera Stamps and Marie (Don) Hooks, all of Birmingham; her daughter, Jane (Glen) Macon of Garland, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Service was Aug. 18 at 10:30 a.m., Don Roser presiding. Burial followed at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Trussville, Southern Heritage directing.

Timothy Riley Morris, 28, of Wilsonville died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005. He was born June 3, 1977, in Orlando, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Morris; his daughter, Kayla Morris; his mother, Connie Cummings; his brothers, Bear Morris and Jason Cumming; his sisters, Cindy Cummings and Mandy Pate; his grandfather, Lynn Cummings; and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service was Aug. 25 at Shelby Garden of Rest, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing.

Naoma P. Scott, 69, of Calera died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005.

She is survived by her son, Tommy (Melody) Pillsbury of Griffin, Ga.; daughters, Lavonda (Ronnie) Roberts of Carterville, Ga., Elizabeth (Andy) Martin of Griffin, Ga., Ann Garrett of Norwood, N.C., Brandi Sanders of Alabaster and Hendon (Kim) Collins of Calera; sisters, Sue (Steve) Cook of Birmingham, Lou (Jimmy) Wallace and Judy Pate of Smith Lake; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Service was Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home, James Scott presiding. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Charter Funeral Home directing
