Charles Richard Caldwell, 76, of Shelby died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005.

He was born June 2, 1929, in Shelby and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ezell Caldwell, and a grandson, Cody Green.

He is survived by his children, Richard Caldwell, Linda Davis, Kay Robinson, Charlene Green and Betty Hay; 10 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Eugene and Leo Caldwell.

Service was Oct. 21 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with burial following in Shelby Garden of Rest Cemetery, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
