John Robert Hall

John Robert Hall, 80, of Jemison died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at home.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Pacific during World War II. He was a local business owner and served on the Chilton County Board of Education for 18 years. He was a devoted member of the Jemison First Baptist Church where he served as deacon, teacher and superintendent and where he loved to sing in the choir.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Julia Brewster Hall; a son, Dr. Rex B. (Lisa) Hall; two daughters, Vicki Hall Martin and Jill (Matt) Hall Lee; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother.

Service was Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church, Martin Funeral Home directing
