Roscoe Pickett, 74, a lifelong resident of Shelby County, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at home.
He was born April 5, 1931, in Sawmill Town, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Gladis Pickett; his brother, Marvin Pickett; and his sister, Sheryl Goad.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Charlene K. Pickett of Maylene; sons, Terry W. (Susan) Pickett of Helena and T.D. &8220;Bo&8221; (Tracy) Pickett of Maylene; daughters, Rhonda G. (Larry) Lawley and Glenda F. (Gary) Carnahan, both of Brierfield; seven grandchildren, Lane Pickett, Gennifer Rose, Jill Pickett, Lance Lawley, Shae Lawley, Johnathon Pickett and Dylan Pickett; a brother, Dellwyn (Rhonda) Pickett; and six great-grandchildren.
Service was Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with burial following in Macedonia Cemetery in Montevallo, Bolton-Letlow directing
