Charlie E. Howell, 70, of Columbiana died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at a local hospital.

He was born April 5, 1935, in Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Howell; his children, Glenda Whitman, Sue Hughes, James Howell, Amos Howell, Patricia Howell, Bobby Howell, Janice Williams and Janette Howell; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eval Parsons and Lockie Mae Fincher.

Graveside service was Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Signal Cemetery, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
