SPECIAL TO THE REPORTER

The Birmingham 13-14-year-old travel team moved its season record to 12-7-2 this past weekend in Nashville, Tenn.

The Bulls started the weekend off by beating Nashville, 4-2, and followed that victory up with a 7-1 lacing of Jackson, Miss.

Halfway through the third period of a hard fought game with league-leading Memphis, the Bulls were tied 3-3 when Memphis scored two quick goals to claim a 5-3 victory.

In the final game, a tired Bulls team went into the last 90 seconds of the match with a 2-1 lead, only to fall 3-2 to a scrappy and fresher team from Little Rock, Ark.

Nick Snead of Vestavia and Daniel Miller of Centerpoint led the Birmingham contingent in scoring.

Max Anderson of Chelsea continued to provide great support for the team in the nets. The team will compete in Huntsville on the 14th and 15th of January
