Clarence Lowery, 75, of Sterrett died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006. He had retired from Barnes Freight Lines and was preceded in death by his wife, Lemurl Lowery; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his son, Danny Cornell; five daughters, Joyce Ann Bonnett, Judy Overton, Sandra Baldwin, Theresa Lee Smith and Linda Smith; two sisters, Ruthie Mae Smith and Alma Jean Swafford; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Service was Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at Vandiver Church of God, the Rev. David Houston presiding. Burial followed in Union Hill Cemetery, Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directing
