Hubert George Haith, 62, of Alabaster died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006. He was born in North Carolina on July 22, 1943, to the late Herbert George Haith Sr. and Myrtle Hail Haith. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He spent his career as an outside salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Haith; his daughter, Darlene Goodwin of Alabaster; his son, Mark (Judy) Floyd of Asheboro, N.C.; his sister, Margaret (Jimmy) Botton of Burlington, N.C.; his brother, J.B. (Dale) Haith of Henderson, N.C.; three grandchildren, Benjamin Goodwin, Gini Floyd and Micah Floyd; nieces, Debbie and Ashley; nephew, Jonathan; great-nephew, Drew; and great-niece, Jillian.

Service was Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home, the Rev. Ray Smith presiding and Charter Funeral Home directing
