Deborah Kay Peterman Speer, 50, of Columbiana died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at a local hospital.

She was born May 4, 1955, in Montgomery and is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Jeanette Peterman.

She is survived by her husband, Ocie Speer; her children, Kasey Mitchell (Scott) Pendley, Mickey Jamison (Misti) Mitchell and Matthew Daniel (Jessica) Mitchell; her grandchildren, Maelia Grace Pendley, Carlee Brown and Matthew Eric Mitchell; her sister, Sue Odom; her aunts, Grace Buie and Doris Sallas; and her great-aunt, Claudia Sullivan.

Graveside service was Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. at Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan. Visitation was held Feb. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Columbiana First United Methodist Church, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
