Mary Beth Hiebert, 25, of Columbiana lost her battle with leukemia on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at UAB Hospital.

She was a 1999 graduate of Shelby County High School where she was actively involved in student government and was a majorette for the marching band for three years, serving as head majorette during her senior year.

She is survived by her mother, Susan Ham; her father, Wayne (Kathy) Hiebert; her sister, Kaitlyn Hiebert; her brother, Brooks Boyd; her grandparents, Gwen Roberts and Merrill and Margaret Hiebert; uncles, Mike (Betty) Roberts, Ronnie (Betty) Hiebert; aunts, Marilyn Mathers, Lori Dame and Gloria (Terry) Mills; her fianc/, Jason Yanko; and a host of family members and friends.

Service was Feb. 5 at First Baptist Church of Columbiana with burial following in Pinelawn Gardens, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Birmingham Chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society
