Kelley said he believes the church plays a key role in today&8217;s society.
&8220;Valleydale seeks to share the timeless message of Jesus Christ in a timely way in a contemporary culture,&8221; he said.
&8220;As a &8216;purpose driven church,&8217; Valleydale strives to help each Christ-follower practice worship, discipleship, community, service and evangelism.
Kelley noted, however, that the church&8217;s mission is not without challenges.
&8220;Obviously today&8217;s families are challenged with dual-income work schedules, materialism, time stresses, parenting issues and divorce,&8221; he said. &8220;Through our Life Development Ministries, we seek to minister to children from birth through high school and their families.&8221;
