Inverness Rotary Gala set for this weekend

The Inverness Rotary Club and Partners Chelsea High School, Oak Mountain High School and Restoration Academy will hold a charity dinner-dance fund-raiser at the Wynfrey Hotel, Galleria Mall on Saturday, Feb. 18 to support those schools and the Inverness Rotary Foundation.

The event will be held from 6 until 11 p.m.

And the goal this year is to raise $50,000.

The &8220;Total Assets&8221; band has been booked to perform musical entertainment.

Rob and Shannon, morning show hosts on Birmingham&8217;s Magic 96.5, have tentatively agreed to be masters of ceremony for the event.

Scott Barnes, professional auctioneer with J.P. King, has agreed to perform the live auction this year.
