Mary Odesta &8220;Polly&8221; Honea, 73, of Sterrett died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at home. She was born Dec. 1, 1932, in Madison County, Ala. She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry M. Evett, and a sister, Martha J. Bradford.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Honea Sr.; her sons, James A. (Wanda) Honea Jr., Joseph Samuel (Cindy) Honea and Charles (Debra) Honea; her daughters, Marcy O. (Tony) Fussell and Rebecca Ann (DeWayne) Brasher; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her sisters, Alma (Jim) Ford, Debbie (Allan) Creel and Pam (Danny) Jackson; her brothers, Alfred (Dot) Evett and Hebert B. (Pat) Evett; and a host of family and friends.

Service was Feb. 10 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with burial following in Union United Methodist Cemetery, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
