Hattie Mae Lawley Crenshaw

Hattie Mae Lawley Crenshaw, 88, of Montevallo died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006. She was a member of Aldrich 1st Baptist Church for 69 years.

She was also a member of the Pea Ridge Senior Citizens and the Montevallo Chapter No. 434 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her parents, George B. and Mary Ethel Lawley; her husband of 50 years, Paul Edward Crenshaw; and her daughter, Georgia Mae Crenshaw.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo (Kenneth) Bailey of Shelby; two grandsons, Kenneth Brode (Veronica) Bailey of Montevallo and Keith Edward (Jane) Bailey of Shelby; five grandchildren, Jennifer Rose Bailey, Alyson Leigh Bailey, Paul Edward Bailey, Lily Nicole Bailey and Molly Joanne Bailey; and a host of cousins and friends.

Service was Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. at Aldrich 1st Baptist Church, the Revs. Dennis Draper, D.J. Horton, Johnye Horton and Charles Stroud presiding. Burial followed in Macedonia Cemetery, Rockco&8217;s Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers were Bill Lee, Calvin Stano, Kerry Emfinger, Charley Stano, Tom Velo and David Hasenbein. Honorary pallbearers are Delmus Anthony, LaDon Brackin, Dan Harrell, Robert L. Pickett, Don Walton and John Mount.
