Howard Mitchell Turley, 90, of Calera died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born June 27, 1915, in Missouri.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Spitzer Turley; special friends, Connie Denty, Myra Stewart, Amber Rodriguez, Kathy Frye, Annette Franklin, Kathy Bryant, Dottie Porter, Billie Ruth Lucas, Sue Shaw and Sherry Smith; and a host of friends and family.

Service was March 9 at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with burial following in Shelby Memory Gardens, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing. The family requests memorials be made to Pinson United Methodist Church
