Ritchie graduates basic training

Air Force Airman Nathan K. Ritchie has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of Evelyn Robertson of Helena and the grandson of Irene Ritchie of Salem, Ala.

The airman is a 2005 graduate of Opelika High School in Opelika, Ala.

Quinn graduates basic training

Army National Guard Pfc. Chad Quinn has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Quinn is the son of Herman Quinn of Harpersville and the nephew of Beverly Quinn of Vincent.

The private graduated in 2003 from Vincent High School and received an associate degree in 2005 from Central Alabama Community College from Childersburg, Ala
