Winnie Wilson, 94, of Columbiana died Saturday, May 13, 2006, at a local hospital.

She was born Sept. 1, 1911, in Concord, Ala., and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Wilson Sr.; her son, Eddie Wilson; her daughter-in-law, Ada Mae Wilson; and her great-grandson, Patrick Garrett.

She is survived by her children, Inez Wilson, Margaret (J.W.) Edmondson, Walter (Jeanette) Wilson Jr., Ernest (Theda) Wilson, Bobby (Gloria) Wilson and Danny (Kathy) Wilson; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; more than 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Service was May 16 at 2 p.m. at 16th Street Baptist Church with burial following in Shelby Memorial Gardens, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
