Jean Passon

Jean Passon, age 52, died May 6, 2006, in Portland, Ore.
She was born in Sioux City, Iowa on May 19, 1953, to Andrew and Caroline Hackett Johnson. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Randy and Louis Johnson.
She was a devoted employee of the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department for almost 19 years. She was also active in community events for the sheriff’s department, such as Santa’s Posse. She was a member of the Mill Plain United Methodist Church, as well as an avid quilter, and sister in the Sunset Stitching Sisters, for six years.
She is survived by her parents, Andrew and Caroline of Columbiana; her husband of 36 years, Billy Passon of Huntsville; her adoring daughters, Tricia Passon (Gary) Keith of Helena and Andrea (companion, David Workman) Passon and Crystal Passon, both of Vancouver, Wash.; her grandchildren, Laci Stull, David D. Workman and Alexa Keith; her sisters, Lura (Stephan) Campbell of Helena and Lisa Shupe of Vancouver, Wash.
A memorial service was held at Mill Plain United Methodist Church on May 12 at 1 p.m.
