Lorene Eddy Smith, 82, of Alabaster died Thursday May 25, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, James A. Holsomback, and her sons, Don Holsomback, Paul Holsomback and Zane Holsomback.

She is survived by her husband, Perry O. Smith of Leeds; her children, Becky Boothe of Maylene, Alta F. Alexander of Boston, Mass., Debbie Estes of Maylene, Betty Jones of Birmingham, Dean Ashmore of Brierfield, James Holsombeck of Hartsville and Bill Holsombeck of Somersville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service was May 27 at 2 p.m. at Rockco&8217;s Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. Burial followed in Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge, the Rev. DeWight Joiner presiding, Rockco&8217;s Funeral Home directing
