Local students earn Central Alabama honors

There were 69 students named to the President&8217;s List at Central Alabama Community College for the spring semester. Students must have taken 12 or more credit hours and earned a 4.0 grade point average to qualify for the President&8217;s List.

Several Shelby County students made the President&8217;s List, including Johanna Ashlen Kelley and Rebecca Moore Smith from Columbiana; April L. Barber from Harpersville; and Destinie Anjel Howard and Jessica Daniel Tillman from Vincent.

There were 137 students named to the Dean&8217;s List at Central Alabama Community College for the spring semester. Students must have taken 12 or more credit hours and earned a 3.5 or above grade point average to qualify for the Dean&8217;s List. Students on the Dean&8217;s List include Andrea Walters Bailey from Alabaster; Emily Anne Daniels, Joseph D. Haltiwanger, and Lauren Nicole Morrison from Columbiana; Whitney Rose Bearden, Debra Little Goodwyn, and Bobbi Jean Hicks from Harpersville; Ashley Lauren Stephens from Montevallo; and Alicia Ann Cook and Rebecca Ann Moore from Sterrett.
