Funeral service for Bobbie Waldrop, age 87, of Vincent, was 11 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Arkwright Baptist Church.

Burial followed in Vincent City Cemetery. The service was officiated by Dr. H.L. Martin, Dr. Don Morris and Rev. William Rayfield.

Visitation was Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waldrop, who passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at a local hospital, was born on February 23, 1919 in Vincent, AL to Jean and Bessie Masters. She was employed with Vincent High School and Elementary School as a Dietician and was a member of Arkwright Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Waldrop, daughter and son-in-law, Gloria (Jerry) Waters, son, Garry Waldrop and a brother, John Bill Masters.

She is survived by her son, Jerry (Geraldine) Waldrop; grandchildren, Jeff (Angie) Waldrop, Dana Novak, Scott Waters, Wendy (Jesse) Burnette, Lisa Waldrop, Lane (Carrie) Waldrop; five great grandchildren; sisters, Christine

Sisk, Imogene (Jerry) Arnold; brother, Jene (Athelea) Masters; sister-in-law, Glennie Masters; nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
