Rufus Raymond Smith, age 72, of Calera, passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2006.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home with burial in Dargin Cemetery. Brother Darryl Nichols officiated. Visitation was held at Charter Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home in Calera.
