Funeral service for Charlie Winsor Barnes, age 68, of Wilsonville, was at 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28, 2006 at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial followed in Pinelawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Barnes, who passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006 at home, was born on October 5, 1937 in Wilton. Mr. Barnes was a member of Wilsonville Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Mamie Barnes and brothers, James Edward Barnes, Franklin Barnes and Ralph Barnes.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley S. Barnes; one daughter, Tammy B. McCann of Wilsonville; two sons, Donald T. (Lynnette) Barnes of Tucson, Ariz. and Keith E. (Shirley) Barnes of Port Arthur, Texas; six grandchildren, Aaron McCann of Wilsonville, Jason, Ryan and Alyshia Barnes of Tucson, Ariz., Brian Barnes of Leeds and Jeremy Barnes of Port Arthur, Texas; two brothers, Joseph Barnes of Wilsonville and Lee (Charlotte) Barnes of Williamsville, Ill.; four sisters, Louise (Porter) Gallups of Wilsonville, Freida Perry of Columbiana, Nettie (Arthur) Foley of Wilsonville and Bettie (Ronnie) Wade of Adamsville and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
