A special Powder Puff race proved to be just as exciting as other races at Shelby County Speedway in Wilsonville.

Crystal Peal took her first ever win during the event at SCS.

Rachael Mapes finished second, and Amy Shockley, a first time driver at the track, finished third.

With 14 cars in the Pure Stock event, Chris Howell took the win. Justin Cleckler finished second and David Hatchett took third place.

In the Hoggs, three nearly identical cars had fans wondering if they were seeing correctly.

The J28 of Johnny Scruggs took home the win with R28 of Rodney Scruggs finishing second and the M28 of Merritt Davis placing third.

In the Hobby Class, Jimmy Pitts took home the win, Mark Owens took second and Jarrod McGaha took third
