Mr. Willard Ray Downey Jr., age 71, of Alabaster, passed away on Friday, Sept. 1, 2006.

Services were held at the Vestavia Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. Reverend Clifford Hellmers officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Beacon Hospice or the Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills. Charter Funeral Home directed
