Randy Swinney, age 46, of Pelham passed away on Sept. 11, 2006 in Alabaster after a brief illness.

Randy loved to travel and had a passion for nature, and because of his love for nature he and his wife Ilene started Lane&8217;s Landscaping sixteen years ago. He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Swinney. He is survived by his wife, Ilene Swinney; his two dogs, Lucy and Binky; mother, Louise Swinney; two sisters, Linda (Billy) Cook and Margene (Wayne) Handley; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Rhoda Feirman; sister-in-law, Amy (Willie) Wren; brother-in-law, Jeffery (Heather) Feirman; and nieces and nephews, Brian (Janna) Kennedy, Jimmy (Misty) Kennedy, Michael (Megan) Handley, Marc (Donna) Handley, Ben Muniz, Robin Munis, Margaret Acton, Arlo Feirman and Rachael Feirman. Visitation was Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006 from 5-7 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, and the funeral service followed at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Heritage.
