Ruth Harper Acton, age 85, formerly of Montevallo, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006 in Falkville.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Tom Hammett presided at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. She was laid to rest at Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster. Rockco Funeral Home directed.
