Ken Roberts

Ken Roberts, age 62, of Jemison died Wednesday, Oct. 4 at his residence.

He was born Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1944 in Shelby Co., son of the late William Herman Roberts and Evelyn Gertrude Roberson Roberts.

He was an electrician and worked in commercial construction.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Roberts of Jemison; sons, Mr. Ronny (Sandy) Moton of Jemison and Mr. Eric Roberts of Elberta; daughter, Mrs. Deidra (Cary) Gadberry of Jemison; grandson, Mr. Lane Moton of Jemison; step-grandson, Mr. Patrick Gadberry of Jemison; granddaughter, Miss Erika Roberts of Jemison; mother, Mr. Evelyn Burcham of Shelby; step-father, Mr. Joe Burcham of Shelby; brother, Mr. Bobby Roberts of Bibb, County; brother, Mr. Charles McGiboney of Jemison; and sister, Mrs. Teresa Ellison of Calera.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Herman Robert and sister, Sherry Rice.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5. Services were held Friday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m., at Martin Chapel with Rev. David Farris officiating.

Interment followed in Robinson Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
