Church Focus: Columbiana church hosts nativity

Published 12:00 am Wednesday, November 22, 2006

The Columbiana Church of the Nazarene will sponsor its 17th annual Live Drive Through Nativity in early December.

The Nativity program features nine separate scenes that tell the life story of Jesus Christ from birth to resurrection complete with costumed actors and livestock.

Guests are given a cassette tape or CD that narrates the entire story scene by scene from the comfort of their cars. Refreshments will be served inside afterwards.

The free event is one of the church&8217;s most popular ministries.

The production will run the first two Saturdays and Sundays of the month, Dec. 2-3 and Dec. 9-10.

&8220;This presentation is our gift to the community,&8221; said Stephanie Gober, coordinator. &8220;It is our prayer that through our efforts lives are touched with the incredible saving message of Jesus Christ. We would like to extend a warm invitation to you and any friends and family who wish to attend.&8221;
