Janye Spruell Cranford

Janye Spruell Cranford, 93, formerly of Vincent, passed away on Monday, Dec. 11. She was a member of the Vincent First Baptist Church and a retired school-teacher of Vincent Elementary School. She enjoyed traveling to Europe, Mexico, Canada and most of the United States after retirement. She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Spruell. She is survived by a son, Samuel (Cindy) Spruell of Warrior; two grandsons, Stephen (Melissa) Spruell of McDonough, Ga. and Richard Spruell of Birmingham; two granddaughters, Tammy (Dave) Hamilton and Jennifer (Steve) Ragland of Hayden; and four great-grandchildren, Allison McCombs, Hunter McCombs, Owen Spruell and Hannah Ragland and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service was held at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. followed by burial in the Vincent City Cemetery, Dr. Lindy Martin officiated
