Mr. Steven Lamar Roberson, 59, died Friday, Dec. 29 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Visitation was held Saturday, Dec. 30 from 6-9 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Roberson was buried in Arkwright Cemetery. Rev. Mike Andrews officiated. He is survived by his wife; Cathy Roberson, two daughters; Aime Foster and April Roberson, three grandchildren; Abigail, Chloe and Dylan Foster, father; Howard Roberson, brother; Tim Roberson and wife Joyce, three sisters; Della Pender and husband John, Gwen Valenti and husband Mike and Gail Green, sister-in-law; Marilyn Roberson, two brother-in-laws; Gary Spates and wife Joannie, Jamie Spates and wife Trish, mother-in-law; Maxine Spates and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Roberson and brother Frankie Roberson. Pallbearers were Mark Green, Joey Roberson, Mike Cato, Jeremy Sims, Justin Spates and Scotty Sims.
