Joyce Alberta Shores, a beloved wife, loving mother and loyal friend. Born in Burkburnett, Texas on Sept. 15, 1931 passed away Jan. 7. She was a retired home economic teacher in California. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, one brother, and two sons; Lawrence W. and William E. Shores, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William E. Shores, Sr.&8217; daughter, Linda (Randy) Collum; brother, Robert (Lynn) Rowe; four grandchildren, Steven, Lonny and Staci Houtz and Janelle Shores; four great-grandchildren, Megan Connell, BreAnna and Samuel Bittle and Olivia Houtz. She has left a huge void in the lives of her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all those who have known and loved her. Our angel has left us and took with her our hearts.
