Funeral service for Anita Joyce Meshad, age 77, of Columbiana, was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Visitation was held Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Meshad, who passed away on Saturday, Jan. 13, at an Atlanta care facility, was born on May 17, 1929 in Shelby County. She was Mrs. Shelby County High and Head Majorette for Shelby County High School from 1945 to 1947.

She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Goldstein and her husband Warren of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Jan Titolo and her husband Rick of Woodstock, Ga; her grandchildren, Rebecca Florence Goldstein and Nathan Felt Goldstein of Colorado Springs and Michelle Christine Titolo and Robert Nicholas Titolo of Woodstock, Ga.
