Lewis Mack Foster

Lewis &8220;Mack&8221; Foster of Columbiana, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 10. He was 72 years old. He was a faithful member of Good Hope United Methodist Church and a barber in Vestavia for 42 years. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and kind heart. Mack was the beloved husband for 54 years of Flora Bozeman Foster; the devoted father of Danny (Andrea) Foster of Center, Texas, Jeff Foster of Clanton, Melissa Foster (Tom) Denney of Auburn; grandfather of Alison Miller, Matthew Foster, Trey Denney and Foster Denney; great-grandfather of Austin and Drew Miller; and brother to Ruth Elledge, Mary Rowe, Charlie O. Foster, Jr., and Dot Cagle. He leaves many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie O. Foster, Sr. and Sadie Farr Foster, and siblings Mayo Ray, Leo Foster, Claudine Hoffman, Bernice Webb, Mardie Pessnell, Louise Mooney, Thelman Foster and Marie Green. A graveside service was held at Williams Cemetery in the Kingdom community on Highway 61 at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12.
