Malissa Harris posted 10 points and six rebounds in her final home game at the McChesney Student Activities Center Monday night, as the Unviersity of Montevallo fell 72-49 to Valdosta State University in a Gulf South Conference game.

Stefanie Durant led UM with 13 points, while Jennifer Hendricks had 11.

The loss is the second on the week for the Lady Falcons, who fell 71-63 at the University of West Florida on Saturday.

The Lady Falcons (14-12, 6-5 GSC) travel to the University of West Alabama this Saturday for their final game of the regular season. A win could possibly position them in second place in the GSC East as they enter the conference tournament, while a loss could leave them as low as fifth.

Valdosta State claimed their East Division title with the victory over UM on Monday.

The 2007 GSC Women&8217;s Basketball Tournament will be played at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Miss. from Feb.
