Alabama Telco Credit Union recently announced the hiring of Mike Newton and Amanda Vincent as product marketing analysts and Vanessa Walters as marketing copywriter. Stanton Davis and Justin Orr have also been promoted.

Mike Newton comes to Telco with 25 years of financial experience in the major banking industry.

Newton graduated from the University of Montevallo with a double major in marketing and management and a B.S. in business.

Amanda Vincent graduated from Samford University with a B.S. in business administration and brings 11 years of financial experience to Telco.

Past employers include Compass and SouthTrust Banks.

Vanessa Walters joins Telco&8217;s Marketing team with more than eight years of copywriting experience and holds a B.A. in English from the University of Montevallo. She served as copy manager for Parisian department stores, where her work won numerous awards at the national Retail Advertising Conference as well as several Addy Awards from the Northeast Alabama Advertising Federation.

Stanton Davis has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Since starting with Telco in June 2006 as marketing director, Davis has made strides in growing the marketing department.

Justin Orr has been promoted to vice president and chief information officer. Orr has been with Telco for four years as chief information officer and has worked in the computer and technology field since 1989
