Michael Scott Smith, 48, of Alabaster, passed away April 8, 2007. A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home. Visitation was held one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a foundation set up in honor of his children ,Madison and Andrew, at Regions Bank.
