Chris Hugh Fields, 47, of Clanton passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham hospital. The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 24 at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Visitation was held Monday, April 23 from 5-8 p.m. He was buried at Midway Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Rick Cato and the Rev. Brandon Stripling presided. He is survived by his wife, Martha Santucci of Clanton; daughter, Krystal Fields of Sylacauga; mother, Pauline Fields of Sycamore; brother, Ronald (Barbara) Fields of Pace, Fla.; sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Bishop of Sylacauga, Debbie Hawkins of Inverness, Tina (John) Lowe of Childersburg and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Adam Fields and father, Huey O. Fields. Pallbeareers were Ronni McGrady, Tommy Brown, Carl Gover, Wesley Wood, John Dixon and Ryan King. John Lowe was an honorary pallbearer.
