Florence Louise &8220;Mama Bo&8221; Boykin, 85, of Shelby passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007, at home. Graveside service was held

Tuesday, May 15 at 11 a.m. at Pinelawn Gardens. The Rev. Roger Hamaker presided.

&8220;Mama Bo&8221; owned and operated Bozo’s Fish Camp on Lay Lake from 1960 until she retired. Her happiest moments were spent fishing and being with family and friends. She will be missed by everyone at Bozo’s Fish Camp. She was born on March 15, 1922, in Birmingham.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bozo Boykin. Boykin is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Bob) Boykin Cox; son, J. T. (Sandy) Boykin Jr.; grandsons, Bo (Rachel) Boykin and Matthew Boykin; sister, Edna Earle &8220;Dinky&8221; (Bill) Bean; brother, John (Ailene) Rice; special friends, Robin and Stevie Joe Smitherman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
